During the current Covid-19 isolation measures I am trying my best to keep you healthy in head, heart and hand. I am currently running live drop-in classes and courses online via Zoom. Please contact me for login details as they change regularly.

I have also uploaded some short videos to my YouTube channel (Lucy Middle Path Yoga) so you can continue to practise daily.

Monday

12:15-13:15 – Yoga For All

This course is designed to help us safely regain flexibility, strength and stamina. It is a friendly, supportive group and you will be encouraged to practise within your comfort zone. Classes will also include breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.

Please bring a yoga mat or towel and wear comfortable clothing.

Venue – The Whiteway Centre, Rottingdean

13:20-14:20 – Gentle Yoga And Mindfulness 

Each class will start with gentle yoga (predominately chair-based) to ease out tight muscles and joints and move on to led mindfulness practice. By quietening the mind and increasing our awareness of physical sensations, thoughts and feelings, we develop the capacity to live fully in the present moment. This, in turn, can help to release us from past regrets and worries about the future.

Please bring a blanket or shawl and wear comfortable clothing.

Tuesday

13:00-13:45 – Yoga At Lunchtime

A weekly class designed specifically to ease out desk-related tensions, increase blood circulation and mobilise the spine. Sessions will also include mindfulness techniques to settle the mind and relaxation time to unwind and de-stress.

Wednesday

17:15-18:30 – Hatha Yoga

 

Hatha Yoga is a calming, gentle and supportive form of yoga which increases mind-body awareness.  Classes are flowing and meditative and the content of each class differs from week to week. Classes may include breath work (pranayama) and meditation, and will end with a period of relaxation.

Venue – Brighton Natural Health Centre, 27 Regent st, Brighton, BN1 1UL.
Level – Continuers
Price – £10 drop-in. Class passes also available.

 

Friday 
09:15-10:15 – Yoga After Drop-off

This class is designed to rebuild strength and flexibility and aims to provide a regular space to unwind and de-stress. A friendly, relaxed group of like-minded folk! Pre-schoolers are welcome to come along and play.

Venue – Unit 4 Studio, 4 Round Hill St, Brighton, BN2 3RG
Level – Open
Price – £48 for 6 weeks or £12 drop-in.

Please note – class runs during term time only.

Saturday 
10:45-12:00 – Hatha Yoga Continuers

Class includes both flowing and held yoga postures with an emphasis on breath awareness. Not suitable for beginners but easier/more advanced variations offered throughout.
